Religious Formation FAQ
Has religious education for 2019-2020 has come to an end?
We completed 19 out of the 24 classes, due to the pandemic, classes were cut short. For the safety and wellbeing of the children and volunteers, we are going to ask neither students nor Catechists to return to class; we will mark this as a completed year.
What about religious education 2020-2021?
We will not start registering for next year until we know the details and safety procedures from our Bishop. Our priority is to keep all volunteers and children safe and healthy. Updates will be posted on our website, bulletin, and in our announcements.
What about students in the First Communion class?
It has been postponed until further notice. Students will need to attend a course on Confession before they receive their sacrament of First Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist. We will stay in contact with the parents on dates and times.
What about students in the Confirmation class?
It has been postponed until fall. Once we know the date, time, safety instructions, and procedures from our Bishop we will inform you.
What about VBS?
We will not have Vacation Bible School this year.

Stay Safe and God Bless!
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word."
